What we do

Championing the value of design as a tool for innovation and business growth. We use our design expertise and technologies to solve practical and strategic business problems; to experiment, innovate, test ideas, and produce new and original products.

NEW PRODUCT DESIGN

  • Product Design. From idea creation through to concepts and prototyping.

  • Ideas generation, critical evaluation and new market opportunities.

  • Design modelling and CAD, product animation and colour rendering.

  • Prototyping and fabrication. Helping to build prototypes to test for form function and fit.

We put users and customers at the centre of a strategic design process to develop services and experiences that deliver a discernible difference for the customer and the client.

Our design methodology uses a range of practical creative and analytical design methods to help clients frame a problem and the opportunity before we look to test and implement solutions.

We work with a range of local public government and private sector organisations

SERVICE AND USER-CENTRED DESIGN

  • 3D printing and replication. Creating complex parts in a variety of resins and plastics

  • CNC machining. Milling and large format router cutting.

  • CAD and product modelling. Including drawings, schematics and rendering

  • Laser cutting and engraving. Produce intricate patterns and cuts working with a range of materials.

  • Ceramics wood and metals. Traditional workshop facilities are used to mould, cut, shape and cast.

  • Prototyping and product testing

  • Set design and fabrication for events

DIGITAL FABRICATION AND PROTOTYPING

Our range of 3D scanners digitally captures complex shapes in full colour. We can 3D scan small intricate objects, artefacts, components and people through to full room interiors, architectural features and 3D colour building surveys

3D SCANNING, REPLICATIONS AND REVERSE MODELLING

Benefits of 3D scanning

  • Minimal contact and contamination. The process is virtually non-contact only requiring minimal handling for the scanner to view the object.

  • 3D full-colour digital imaging and surveys. Virtual objects, exhibitions and digital collections.

  • Digital fixing and repairs of artefacts. Minimise the cost and time of manual repairs and reproductions.

  • Inspection, measurement and analysis. Monitor and measure the rates of wear and tear or the impacts of environmental conditions

  • 3D evidence collection and recording

  • Multimedia applications. Create 3D animations and fly-bys

  • Virtual immersive environments. We create a digital copy of spaces places, exhibitions, and showrooms and, then add interactive information ‘hotspots’
